Shellback Tactical Banshee Plate Carrier: New and In Stock now!

I have been using the Shellback Tactical Banshee Plate Carrier for almost 2 years now. I have tested numerous plate carriers before, both in airsoft and on the range, and I never found one that I really liked and fit me. That is until I discovered the Shellback Tactical Banshee. I chose the Banshee because it is a low profile plate carrier, is not bulky, and does not hinder me. The Banshee is perfect for me and here are the reasons why.

First, the Shellback Tactical is made with 1000 Denier tactical nylon, which is one of the best materials in the tactical nylon market as of now. It is tough, durable, and reliable. Second, to me the Banshee plate carrier is a low profile plate carrier that does not hinder me. A lot of plate carriers on the market are bulky and too heavy in my opinion, which hinders my mobility both on the range and on the airsoft battlefield. I carried a lot of equipment on me and the carrier does not get in the way, especially when run it in conjunction with a battle belt. If you have read my articles before, you know I like to run a low profile plate carrier in conjunction with a battle belt. The Banshee Plate carrier is just low profile enough to clear the belt.

Although the Banshee Plate Carrier is low profile, it does have a lot of room for your pouches. The front flap has 6 columns of MOLLE Webbing, which can be fitted with 3 rifle pouches (generally Rifle pouch takes up 2 columns). There is also a kangaroo pouch behind the flap, which the operator is able to insert a kangaroo insert for more organized storage space.

As you all know, plate carrier’s main purpose is to carry plates. Although plate carriers (including the Banshee Plate Carrier) does not offer any ballistic, but there are 2 plate pockets for ballistic plates. Of course, you would have to purchase those plates separately. Other than that, the Banshee Plate Carrier is perfect for carrying magazines and other mission essential equipment.

There are 2 (1 front, 1 rear) hook and loop ID panels on the carrier. A very interesting thing about the Banshee plate carrier is the fact that you can run the carrier with or without the cummerbund. On the cummerbund, there is MOLLE webbing on both side of the cummerbund. The reason why there are MOLLE webbing on the inside is that as the operator, I can mount a side plate pouch, and insert additional ballistic plates on the side of the plate carrier, which will increase the protection of the overall system.
