New G-Code Holsters!
July 30, 2012
If you have been following the GITV Blog, you would know that I am a huge G-Code Holster fan. I like their superior RTI (Rapid Transition Interface) mounting platform, which allow the operator quickly change holsters when necessary. As most of you know, I am a huge firearm enthusiast and go to the range and shoot regularly. One of the things that I must do is to test out my gear at the range. Over the years, I tested out numerous holsters; Condor, Blackhawk, Safariland, G-Code, Raven Concealment etc. after extensive testing, I have found the perfect holster set up for myself for both airsoft and real steel shooting.
\Currently, I use both G-Code R.T.I. mounting platform and holsters to do all of my shooting except for when I use a pistol mounted light. In that case, I will use Safariland holster. Even with a Safariland holster, I will still use a G-Code mounting platform. G-Code actually make a adaptor so other holster brands, such as Safariland and SERPA holsters, are able to use their R.T.I. platforms. Since I have 2 pistols, a Glock 17 and a Kimber 1911, the R.T.I. platform is the perfect platform and solution for me.
Since the demands for kydex holsters has become higher and higher, G-Code has produced 2 new holsters to keep up with the demands. New for this year are the G-Code H&K HK45 and the Hi-Capa series holsters. Both holsters are well made, just like the other holsters G-Code already produced. The HK45 holster will fit the KWA HK45 gas blowback pistol nicely. The sample Airsoft GI received is the OSH version. The XST, along with the OSH holsters will be available soon at Airsoft GI.
The new holster that attracted me the most is the Hi-Capa series holster which G-Code just came out with. Originally designed for the STI series double stack 1911 pistols, the Hi-Capa series holster will fit a variety range of pistols. I have tested with the WE Hi-Capa series, from the normal Hi-Capa to the Dragon series; they all fit perfectly in the holster. The Tokyo Marui 5.1 and 4.3 fitted nicely as well. However, the KJW Full Metal Hi-Capa Xcelerator will not fit in this holster. Same as the HK45 holster, both XXST and OSH holsters will be available.
We here at Airsoft GI are very excited for the new G-Code holsters. They are expected to hit our warehouse in a few weeks. Make sure you keep checking back on our website, and make sure you are subscribed to our Facebook page to receive the latest airsoft news. I am Andrew, stay sharp, and get out and play airsoft.
Hi, is there an update on the ETA for these holsters? Now that I have the HK45, I’d like to purchase ASAP. Thanks.
